Do you know someone who’s getting into grilling? Or someone who’s been grilling for years and has cooked for you before? I have some excellent grilling gift ideas for that person in your life.
A griller yourself? You should give this list a look as well. You may just find something you haven’t thought of and would be great to add to your collection.
I wasn’t always into grilling. I became a grilling guy.
As a kid, we had that one cheap grill that sat out in the rain too long, rusted up, and became useless. I don’t recall my dad ever using it. I wasn’t brought up around grilling. I started to learn some grilling pointers in my 20s standing along people who did know how to grill.
Once I bought my own house, I soon bought a grill. I grilled and grilled. Some meals came out better than others. I experimented with different charcoals (I like lump charcoal, personally) and discovered the wonderful grill chimney.
Getting into an animal-based way of eating only forced me to double down on this adventure.
I was hooked. Slowly, but surely.
I learned along the way and want to pass that knowledge onto you. I feel obligated to pass my knowledge onto others with the same passion.
Come along as we go over some grilling items that you’ll either just love to have or simply won’t be able to do without.
Using forks to pull apart your pork or beef? Finding it to be a bit awkward? This is your solution. Use these to pull your meat of choice apart with minimal effort and maximum efficiency.
You can also use these as claws to hold shredded meat to put it into an adjacent bowl or plate.
In addition to the ease of use of this tool, you also get 25 different barbeque recipes complete with video tutorials.
These come in handy anytime you’re handling anything near the fire or on the grill.
These gloves are heat-resistant up to 932 degrees Fahrenheit, making them useful for any sort of cooking you’ll be doing on your backyard grill or smoker, or even in your indoor oven.
The silicone material allows for an excellent grip on anything you’ll be touching. These gloves will also not catch on fire when exposed to open flames, unlike most other kitchen gloves. This makes for an ideal glove for dumping hot coals from something such as a grill chimney starter.
Cedar plank cooking is becoming all the rage.
Add some distinct flavor to meats such as fish with these wood planks. These planks are pure cedar, which is ideal for cooking salmon.
Before starting, simply soak the planks you’re going to use in water for an hour or two. Then follow the instructions with the package.
The chimney starter is one of my favorite grilling accessories. Throw away the charcoal fluid and start your fire with just this and a couple of pieces of newspaper. You can have hot coals and be ready to cook in just 20-25 minutes.
This Weber model, the 7429, has an ergonomic handle which makes dumping the coats onto the grate very simple.
This seven utensil set includes much of what you need for grilling and everything you need for simple foods like burgers and hot dogs.
The spatula is interesting, in that it includes a bottle opener!
This set comes with a handy carrying case for grilling on the go or at a picnic.
All of the materials are made of stainless steel, which provides valuable durability in all sorts of outdoor conditions.
As far as grilling gift ideas go, this one is maybe the most underrated out there.
Not only is this a valuable grabber and flipper for difficult pieces of meat such as burgers, it also provides a strong stainless steel backing for cleaning the grill grate when a brush just won’t do.
With its scissor motion, this tool allows for an opening of up to six inches, with its flat design allowing for way more ease than a regular pair of tongs.
This tool is over 18 inches in length, which keeps your arm away from open flames and keeping the grillmaster from getting burned.
This is the same thermometer I use for all of my meats. I did a review on this a little while back.
It has 3.5 stars from Amazon, but I’ve been quite satisfied with this thermometer overall. My only real gripe with this is the numbers can be hard to read in certain situations.
Do you think your patties are coming out too big or too small? Having trouble judging how much beef you should use? This is the perfect gift for anyone who wants to make uniform burger patties.
Depending on how big of a burger you want, this press can make either a quarter-pound of half-pound patty.
For easy cleaning, the black handle comes detached.
How does a burger press work? This instructional video gives you an idea, showing one side for quarter-pounders and the other side for half-pounders.
This basket is a tremendous product for anyone looking to grill veggies alongside their meat. Whatever you’re thinking of, just throw it in the basket set it on the grate and cook to your desire.
Holes through the basket allow for good airflow and will add that smokey flavor.
The Grill Basket is also good for cooking shrimp or other food that’s too sensitive to put directly on the fire for very long.
The entire basket is made of stainless steel and is dishwasher safe.
No gift list of grilling gift ideas is complete without spices and seasonings. FreshJax, a small US-based business, has this excellent set of five different spices, great for either using as a rub or sprinkling while your meat’s sizzling on the grate.
Everything in this set is Keto, low-carb, and Paleo-compliant. These spices are also gluten-free, sugar and sweetener-free, and no MSG.
Try the Island Spice for chicken and pork, the Bold Bayou for seafood, Keto Compromise and Grill Master for steaks and beef, and the Toasted Onion is a great complement for burgers.
Get them all! They’re all great grilling gift ideas.
For the beginner, I would get the oven gloves, the burger press, or the 7-piece set.
For the veteran, they probably don’t have the 3-in-1 tool and yet would greatly come to appreciate it.
You can never, ever go wrong with more spices. Any griller is going to welcome more spices.

I have been looking for a good wireless thermometer. Looks like I came to the right place. I also really love the BBQCroc I can think of so many times those would have come in handy for me. Great selection of products here for grilling. Fortunately, where I live we can grill year-round. Thanks!
Thanks for reading! I used the thermometer again last weekend and am still glad I have it. I'm in Florida, so I too will be grilling all through the next several months.
